Rephaim and Nephilim have been misrepresented for the sake of misleading mankind. Nephilim are the Fallen Ones, and Rephaim are the Evil Ones.
Job 26:5-9 WEB “(Rephaim)The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them. (6) Sheol is naked before God, and (destruction) Abaddon has no covering. (7) He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing. (8) He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them. (9) He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.
Here Job creates layers of reality, so at the lowest pits of Hell we have Rephaim. Then we have Hell (sheol) below the earth, with the sky above that, and Heaven at the top.
Isaiah 14:9 WEB Sheol from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the (Rephaim) departed spirits for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Thus the Rephaim have escaped out of Hell according to Job, and then the same here in Isaiah; that the kings of the earth are actually Rephaim who have escaped from Hell.
Isaiah 17:4-6 WEB “It will happen in that day that the glory of Jacob will be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh will become lean. (5) It will be like when the harvester gathers the wheat, and his arm reaps the grain. Yes, it will be like when one gleans grain in the valley of Rephaim. (6) Yet gleanings will be left there, like the shaking of an olive tree, two or three olives in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outermost branches of a fruitful tree,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel.
Thus when the Tares are removed at the Harvest, these are the Rephaim being removed from our reality. Basically reality will break down, and the dense souls will fall through back into Hell, with the saints being left in our reality.
Isaiah 26:19 WEB Your dead shall live. My dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the (Rephaim) departed spirits.
At the Resurrection of the Saints, the demons are removed from reality; yet currently we're in a time where the wicked don't see their own iniquity, so be careful that not everything is as it seems.
