The Bible says Yeshua came to set a Snare (Isaiah 8:11-22), where when they paid 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11) for Yeshua, the Curse of Moses (Deuteronomy 28) was placed on the House of Israel for their rejection of their Messiah.

In Jeremiah 25 the Shepherds over the flock became more corrupted in Babylon, and refused correction. In Daniel 9 it continues the contexts, that they will spend 70 years in Babylon, return build the 2nd temple, and then go against the Messiah. The 'wailing of the shepherds' in the end of Jeremiah 25, is continued in Zechariah 11.
