There are people who don't know who God or Jesus is and they will go to heaven. This is only because they have not heard about him from others and have not made the choice to follow Christ or to not. That is the point to where someone goes to heaven or not. Doing good works or trying really hard will not get you into heaven. That's where a lot of people get stuck.
