Accidental Polytheism

The idea many think in a plurality about God, that there is a choice of which Source to reality we want to listen to, shows a misunderstanding of theology; God isn't a thing we can choose, it is everything, and therefore everything has come from it.
Thus question why the Source of reality has allowed certain religious texts, as clearly it has a reason for everything.
