If lyrics don't have depth,
It's like a weave without weft;
It's alright to rhyme,
Yet at least say something real at the same time.
A mission statement given;
Inspiring leaven.
Insightfully building from start to stop,
Was the basis of Hip-Hop;
Not just some sort of Melodic-Pop.
