The prophets used entheogens correctly for increasing human intelligence i.e. psychedelics & cannabis: where the Hebrew Shewbread was psychedelic, like Kykeon - the ancient Greek & Roman ergot barley drink, that philosophers drank at Eleusis, and the Holy Anointing Oil (Exodus 30:23-25) contained cannabis (Kaneh-Bosem).

The ancient Dharmic culture used a cannabis, & milk drink called Bhang, and Soma - which was Fly Agaric mushrooms.
