Elohim is a name for God but ben elohim means sons of god and is in reference to the Nephillim or fallen angels who
had relations with the daughters of men.

YHWH is the major name of God that was considered sacred. Toholy to speak out loud. so the priest put a J in place of a Y and changed His name to Jehovah. the translators did not know this at the time so that is why we call Him Jehovah. It is aparently ok to do this since He answers to it.

Yeshua is the true name of christ. we call Him Jesus because of how the Y was changed to J and the SH is similar to the SU sound and was interpreted and translated as such.

The Lord seems to respond to it as there are many deliverances in His name and He himself said that a house divided against itself cannot stand and satan cannot cast out satan. there are many cultures that know who He is and yet have different names for Him. He know their hearts and hears them in love and understanding. It is hard to change the whole world who is used to saying a different name. I say Jesus alot. But for the record, His name is Yeshua.

God has many names...Adoni, elohim, Yaweh, Jehovah ect... He is also addressed sometimes by what His personality stands for. the God who heals, God,my salvation, restorer, rebuilder, rewarder. Because God is not any one thing, He is diverse and He is the greatest of everything.

Just some quick thoughts!

so, are you trying to tell me that i am a pharisee?
I read my bible and have never come to such aconclusion. If you believe I am misleading people, then I am sorry but I disagree. We may have to discuss with everyone somewhat intently the ideas we have until we each come to our own conclusions.

Maybe we have gotton away from the subject
What is your biblical response to the parable I wrote about. If it is your intention to convince me that Yeshua told you these things and you're an angel ect... then I require the word of God to back you up. If not, I can't believe. As you don't trust anything Paul said ect... then I cannot in the same line of thought listen to any other books that I do not believe are from God. The only one I believe is the bible as the infallible word of God. So, as one who loves you, please enlighten me as to the biblical proofs of what Yeshua.

I have an open mind but I am not easily persuaded.

Ok, hit me with it my friend!

Sorry, I beg to differ with you.

There is a reason Yeshua spoke this parable and it was to show that those who sought to kill Him and His disciples would not inherit what they thought they would but He returned from the dead ( the firstborn of the dead) and Gave the inheritance to His followers.

There is another parable about the different groups of people sent to work at different times of the day who recieved the same in wages at the end of the day. The Lord told them it was what He had promised each of them regardless of when they began their work. Also, it is representitive of our spirtual inheritance regardless of the point in our lives that we receive Christ as our Lord and savior.

Love ya!

thanks for your awesome reply! I agree with you. Can't remember what I wrote without looking directly but I believe it was a general question about wether or not people believe in the Holy Spirit and His awesome power. I am passionate about Him as He is my constant companion and Christ the lover of my soul. Not every christain in heaven will speak in tounges, I know. But everyone can. I believe in unity in the body of Christ. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe that we are going into revival at our church but we cannot succede without unity. We have to lay down our stubborn pride and listen to God as He diciplines us. We need to hold our tounges and be obediant. I am glad we are siblings. thanks for your reply. My computer is down and I don't know how to access even my own email on this ristricted library computer so if we are to reply to each other, it won't be any time soon. Hurricane Dennis is coming so it may be a good three weeks. I live near Mobile, Alabama, USA.
