@AaronAbke - When I first started understanding Paul contradicted Christ, I got the same reception from friends, family, and Christians I spoke to, they went mad, and became very accusative/slanderous - the word 'satan' means an 'accuser' from Hebrew, and the word 'devil' means a 'slanderer' from Greek.

Now after years of study, whilst debating the world's religion online, I've realized that what seemed like 'a conspiracy' to begin with, is all ordained, and is much bigger theologically (Isaiah 8:12).

Immanuel came to lay a Snare by his Testimony & the Law in Isaiah 8:11-22; where there is a Large Scroll (Bible) prophesied to go out among the Nations (Isaiah 8, Zechariah 5, Ezekiel 3, Revelation 10, etc), to see who'd swear falsely, and who'd steal what isn't theirs.

The concept of Maher-shalal-hash-baz, is 'those who are quick to the spoils, and who hasten to the prize'; who within their greed for eternal life, they didn't read the prophesied small print (Isaiah 30:8-11).

Yeshua came to fulfil the Divorce Decree in Zechariah 11, which is a continuation of Jeremiah 25 & Daniel 9, where the religious leaders refused to listen to those sent by God, so the Messiah/Lord came to test them, and by their rejection of him, they broke the Abrahamic Covenant in Zechariah 11:10, and the Sinai Covenant in Zechariah 11:12-14 - when they paid 30 pieces of silver, and put it in the Potter's Field in the House of Israel (Price of a slave).

'The Poor of the Flock (Ebionites) knew it was the word of the Lord' in Zechariah 11:11, and so the early Church were named after this prophecy.

The terminology Christian didn't come along until after in Antioch (Acts 11:25-26), and was specifically a follower of Simon the 'stumbling stone' (petros) & Pauline Christianity; the early Ebionites rejected Christianity, so conflating the two words isn't historically accurate.

There is a later Midrash stating that Saul & Simon petros created Christianity together, working with the Sanhedrin to achieve it.

Yeshua said to Simon that satan had a use for him (Luke 22:31), and he called him petros to fulfil prophecy in Isaiah 8:14, and Zechariah 3:9, that he would be a stumbling stone that would deceive the whole world.

It wasn't until recently, when another independent student of the Bible pointed out, that Saul & Sheol are spelled the same in Hebrew (שׁאול), that I then realized how Isaiah 28:15+18 literally says that 'Saul created a Covenant of Death' about the 'Chief Corner Stone' (Isaiah 28:16) in the Middle of the 'Bed' of 'Adultery' (Isaiah 28:20-21).

When it is understood that Saul was prophesied as the devil to twist the message of the Messiah in its Biblical connotations, we can understand that in Zechariah 3:1-2, we have Yehoshua on the left, as we find in the Synoptic Gospels, and on the right we have the Pharisaic accusers rebuking him (John, Paul, Simon).

When Yehoshua showed the Disciples how prophecy was being fulfilled, where he came to 'cut off Jerusalem', Simon 'rebuked him' (Zechariah 3:1-2), and Yeshua called him 'satan, saying he followed the ways of man, more than God' (Matthew 16:13-23) - as Yeshua could see Simon was Pharisaic, which is why he left the original Ebionites, and joined Saul to create Christianity.

When we take into account in the Greek religion Hades is named after the underworld Hades, and in the Norse religion Hel is named after Hell: Saul is named after the underworld, and is basically fulfilling the role of the Devil, against the Angel of the Lord being Yehoshua.

When Saul went to the Church of Asia Minor he was rejected (2 Timothy 1:15), and classed as a 'false apostle' as stated in Revelation 2:2.

The Sheep & Goats/Wheat & Tares is already there in the Biblical structure, yet people are not wise enough to see the Synoptic Gospels Vs the defamatory Gospel of John, is like a morality IQ test or a Levitical Exam.

Saul is named purposefully after the devil, to see who'd choose good over evil, and darkness before light (Isaiah 5:20).

This realm we're within according to theology globally is between Heaven & Hell; where here is a world of desires (Maya), to see if we choose the Oneness of God or our selfish pursuits; thus when many choose Saul (devil) over Yeshua (Salvation), it is all a test to see which way we choose to face.

Simon was purposely named a small stone (petros) before Yehoshua, like a pebble that will trip us up or cause a harvest not to reach full potential (petrodes - Mark 4:5+16), as the seeds don't gain roots by putting faith into another, rather than learning to dig down, and gain their own strong faith in God.

Aaron when you say you'd like to "Thrash out the Scriptures", I'm willing to discuss all of this in detail, and so far you've ignored all my comments posted; I guess if you'd rather pick up on your demonic haircut, then me just dissecting the details of scripture, it isn't slanderous enough to be noticed.
