@Aaron Abke - Learned over the last 21 years explaining this, that if we stop approaching it that Saul is wrong (therefore the Bible is wrong), and instead show where Saul & Sheol are spelled the same in Hebrew (שׁאול) - therefore Saul is playing the role of the devil in Isaiah 28:15+18, by creating a Covenant of Death about the Chief Corner Stone, and thus placing everyone into the Bed of Adultery (Isaiah 28:9-19); then it becomes this is a fulfilment of prophecy that people haven't been wise enough to notice, and so then they have to question themselves, instead of going into categoric denial that God messed up.

The prophecy of them shouting "Grace, Grace to the Headstone" is in Zechariah 4:7, where as we come out of a global Babylon the Great, we identify that they didn't get Grace/Noam from Yeshua's death, instead they divorced themselves when their religious leaders rejected their King in Zechariah 11:10, and when they paid 30 pieces of silver in Zechariah 11:12-14, the Curse of Moses was placed upon them (Deuteronomy 28) - where they eat each other's flesh at the 2nd temple destruction (Zechariah 11:9, Deuteronomy 28:53-55).

Saul is prophesied as a false apostle in Revelation 2:2, where he was rejected by the Church of Asia Minor (2 Timothy 1:15).

The reason the demons recognized Saul in Acts 19:15 is because he is named after the devil (Sheol), and they knew Yeshua, as he is the Angel of the Lord.

We can prove God put Saul in the Bible like in Job, where God allowed satan to test Job, the same with the New Testament, where the Pharisaic authors (John, Paul, Simon petros) have been used to test humanity.

We can show that King Saul (sheol/devil) was evil, and so God removed him, and placed King David (beloved) as he cared about the Flock; in the New Testament Yeshua is David, and Saul is of the house of Benjamin.

We can also show that when everything is God, then everything in reality is there for a reason, it is just us understanding its complexities that shows this.

We don't all agree that God wouldn't put false bits in the Bible, as the Bible wouldn't be true, if God hadn't allowed 'the lying pen of the scribes' (Jeremiah 8:8) to corrupt the Gospel of Christ, as prophesied in the Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen, etc (Luke 20:9-19, Mark 12:1-12, Matthew 21:33-46).

Your statements on 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16 is about the end times, yet is speaking the same as the prophets do in a present tense, as it was happening now in their vision of it coming.

Saul is also not prophesying, he is doing the same as he does with much of his writings, he is taking what is within the Tanakh, and paraphrasing their sentiments to make it his own (Jeremiah 23:31).

When Saul is saying about meeting the Lord on the sky, it is contextual to all these verses: Zechariah 9:14 (Isaiah 29:6-7, Jeremiah 23:19), Zephaniah 1:16-18, Joel 2:1, Isaiah 18:3, Jeremiah 4:21, Hosea 8:1, Jeremiah 6:17.

You're right that Saul saying the 'time draws near' (eggizo - G1448) is a warning sign, as Yeshua said about this in his warnings about those using "I Am" statements claiming to be him (Luke 21:8).

Saul being like the devil is accurate on eschatology & theology; it is just he is causing people to break the law purposefully, so they get condemned by God at their judgement.

This was prophesied in Jeremiah 5:26 that 'there are wicked men among our people, who will use the Messiah as a way to Snare the ungodly'; the problem is they've not Snared just the ungodly, they've Snared everyone, including themselves.
