The Bible Showed Us We Should Be Vegetarian

An examination of where the Bible showed not to eat meat, and how at Judgement Day the Ravenous Beings are to be removed.

With a careful study of the Bible, we can show that God intended us to eat fruit as our diet, and before the flood we lived longer, after the flood once we eat animals, our life span went from a thousand years to a hundred years.
One of the first commandments God gave us, was to eat fruit.
Quote:
Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food.

After the flood God gave the allocation to eat meat; yet only out of necessity, as all the fruit trees had gone.
The Israelites carried on sacrificing, and eating animals from their time in Egypt; though the prophets kept warning God didn't want sacrifice.
Quote:
Jeremiah 7:21-23 So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Put your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat flesh. (22) For I did not speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. (23) But I commanded them this thing, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people; and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well with you.

When the Israelites were lead through the wilderness, and given manna to eat, they demanded to have flesh like they had in Egypt; in Numbers 11 the whole chapter is about their demands for flesh to eat, even if it was against God's wishes. When God gave them flesh, it caused a plague; which should've been an example eating animals causes many diseases.
Quote:
Numbers 11:13 From where should I get flesh to give to all this people? For they weep to me, saying, Give us flesh that we may eat.

Numbers 11:31-33 And a wind went forth from Jehovah. And it cut off quails from the sea and let them fall by the camp, about a day's journey on this side, and about a day's journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits high upon the face of the earth. (32) And the people stood up all that day and all night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails. And he that gathered least gathered ten homers. And they spread them out for themselves all around the camp. (33) And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of Jehovah was kindled against the people, and Jehovah struck the people with a very great plague.

There were a group of Israelites who separated themselves to God, where they were called Nazarites; who didn't come near dead flesh or death i.e. no alcohol, vinegar, etc.
Quote:
Numbers 6:6 All the days that he separates to Jehovah, he shall not come near any dead body.

We can see that when Daniel was in Babylon, and the king went to feed Daniel his rich food, Daniel declined, and said he would rather have what God had given him.
Quote:
Daniel 1:8-16 But Daniel laid on his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's food, nor with the wine which he drank. So he asked permission of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. (9) And God had given Daniel kindness and compassion before the chief of the eunuchs. (10) And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who has chosen your food and your drink. For why should he see your faces worse looking than the boys who are of your kind? Then you would forfeit my head to the king. (11) And Daniel said to Melzar, whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, (12) I beg you, try your servants ten days. And let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. (13) Then let our appearance be seen before you, and the appearance of the boys who eat of the king's food. And as you see, deal with your servants. (14) So he listened to them in this matter, and tried them for ten days. (15) And at the end of ten days their faces looked fairer and fatter in flesh than all the boys who had eaten the king's food. (16) So Melzar took away their part of the food, and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.

It was always optional if people were to listen to what God commanded, and so there are verses like this in the Proverbs, showing it is better not to cause suffering or death, if we want to be more moral.
Quote:
Proverbs 15:17 Better is a dinner of vegetables where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred with it.

Whereas God made it optional to eat anything, we were meant to care for nature, and look after the animals; where though this verse in Zechariah can be seen about the Flock of Israel, it can also be applied to their ruthless treatment of the animals - where there were rivers of blood flowing out of the 2nd Temple.
Quote:
Zechariah 11:4-5 For so says Jehovah my God: Feed the flock of the slaughter, (5) those buying them kill them, and hold themselves not guilty. And those who sell them say, Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich; and their shepherds do not pity them.

This is where when Yeshua said, "you've turned the House of God into a den of Predators", the word 'Prytsim' (פרצים) is translated as 'Thieves', yet implies 'Ravenous Beings' in some way.

The priestly class have always tried to defend that God required sacrifice, as it made a payment system that they could manage, and act like they were helping people reconnect to God; yet when we observe what the prophets were stating, they were condemning the action of sacrificing repeatedly, where instead they were saying God wanted us to try to be righteous - not making excuses, and trying to pay God with other being's lives.
Quote:
Hosea 8:13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of My offerings, and eat it; but Jehovah does not receive them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins. They shall return to Egypt.

It is repeated how God didn't accept their sacrifices, though they perceived this is what was required from other ancient cultures.
Quote:
Isaiah 1:13-17 Bring no more vain sacrifice; incense is an abomination to Me; the new moon and sabbath, the going to meeting; I cannot endure evil and the assembly! (14) Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; they are a trouble to Me; I am weary to bear them. (15) And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood. (16) Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil; (17) learn to do good; seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow.

Micah 6:5-8 O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab planned, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may know the righteous acts of Jehovah. (6) With what shall I come before Jehovah, to bow myself before God the Most High? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? (7) Will Jehovah be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? (8) He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?

Though the Jews perceive they can teach the Gentiles they can follow their religion, and don't have to keep the dietary Laws, the Bible says the exact opposite; where at Judgement Day God is going to remove all the Ravenous Beings in Isaiah 34 - where then after the Redeemed are those who've listened.
Quote:
Isaiah 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any beast of prey shall go up on it; it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there.

Isaiah 65:1-4 I am sought by those who asked not for Me; I am found by those who did not seek Me. I said, Behold Me, behold Me, to a nation not calling on My name. (2) I have spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people who walk in the way not good, after their own thoughts; (3) a people who without ceasing provoke Me to anger to My face; who sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense on the bricks; (4) a people who remain among the graves, and sleep in the tombs, who eat swine's flesh, and broth from hateful things in their vessels;

Those who are removed at Judgement Day is because they didn't try to be moral, and instead followed their own man-made doctrines, where they follow what they perceived to be acceptable.
This is where Paul said only not to eat meat if it offended your brethren; instead of what about if murdering animals, offends the God of the Living, as God made us to look after the sentient beings.
Quote:
1 Corinthians 8:13 Therefore, if food offends my brother, I will eat no flesh forever, that I do not offend my brother.

When we come to the Messianic Age, there will be a covenant made with nature, where animals shall again dwell safely in the land, without many of us trying to wipe them all out.
Quote:
Hosea 2:18 And in that day I will cut a covenant for them, with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground. And I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.Ezekiel 34:25 And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will send the evil beasts out of the land. And they shall dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were full of wrath, and Your wrath came, and the time of the judging of the dead, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to the ones fearing Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those destroying the earth.

Since some are determined to savage flesh, God has allowed them all to be set up 'by the lying pen of the scribes', who've insisted eating animals is fine; when really with study, we can show it never was, as we're not biologically designed to eat animals.
Quote:
Isaiah 66:3-4 He who kills an ox is is as if he killed a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is as if he broke a dog's neck; he who offers an offering is as if he offered swine's blood; he who burns incense is as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. (4) I also will choose the things that delude them, and I will bring their fears on them, because I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.

When we come to the Messianic Age it is repeated, that those who'd not listen to their heart, shall have been removed from reality, and God's chosen people will be lead by the Messiah into an Age of Enlightenment.
Quote:
Isaiah 11:6-9 Also the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the cub lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. (7) And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. (8) And the suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. (9) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the food of the snake. They will not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, says Jehovah.

There are warnings throughout the Bible against the predatory nature of some; yet they don't perceive it as evil, to take life, and so they've been deliberately set up, to see who is moral, and who doesn't notice.
Quote:
Jeremiah 12:4 How long shall the land mourn, and the grass of every field wither from the evil of those who dwell in it? The beasts and the birds have been destroyed, because they said, He shall not see our last end.
