If Yeshua has reached out to you, understand the contexts that was put forward of a living Gospel; not the Tares that came about after, which taught it was Good News he died.
The Pharisees were prophesied in the Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen, to teach that people got an inheritance from the Messiah's death; where instead they'd be condemned by God at Judgement Day (Luke 20:9-19, Mark 12:1-12, Matthew 21:33-46).
Immanuel in Isaiah 8:11-22 came to lay a Snare to see who'd listen to both the Law & Testimony of the Messiah; where those who'd speak to the dead on behalf of the living, get chucked into outer darkness.
To understand the Bible properly, we have to recognize the Gospel of John doesn't sound like Yeshua, and is most likely correlated by the Sanhedrin.
Saul & Sheol are spelled the same in Hebrew i.e Hell, and we're meant to notice Saul's Pharisaic doctrine contradicts Yeshua (Salvation - H3444).
Simon was called a Stumbling Stone (Petros) by Yehoshua in fulfilment of prophecy, that he'd mislead people (Zechariah 3:9, Isaiah 8:14-16), and we have Midrash saying that Simon left the original followers of Yeshua (the Ebionites), joined Paul, and they created Christianity together (Acts 11:25-26).

The message being relayed, is that the whole world has already been deceived as prophesied; where people have been taught Christ came to die for sin, and instead it was to set a Snare, by placing the Chief Corner Stone into the middle of the Bed of Adultery (Isaiah 28:9-19+20-21).
It was the Pharisaic authors (John, Paul, Simon), who after Yeshua was crucified, taught to make a 'Covenant with Death' about the Messiah.
Yeshua warned in the Parable of the Wheat & Tares, that when he was taken up, his message would become corrupted; people wait for the anti-Christ, yet it already happened at the beginning of the Church, where Christianity is anti-Christ's doctrine.
