There is nothing from outside of the man,
that going into him can defile him;
but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear

it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes to say, 'Where is strong drink?'
lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the justice due to anyone who is afflicted.
Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish; and wine to the bitter in soul:
(Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
(Leviticus 10:9)
"Drink no wine nor strong drink,
you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the Tent of Meeting,
that you don't die:
it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations:

They also reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up by wine.
They stagger with strong drink.
They err in vision. They stumble in judgment.
(Psalms 75:8)
For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
(Proverbs 4:17-22)
For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day.
The way of the wicked is like darkness. They don't know what they stumble over.
My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings.
Wine is a mocker,
and beer is a brawler.
Whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
He who loves pleasure shall be a poor man.
He who loves wine and oil shall not be rich.
The wicked is a ransom for the righteous; the treacherous for the upright.
Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path
Don't be among ones drinking too much wine,
or those who gorge themselves on meat:
for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags.
Listen to your father who gave you life, and don't despise your mother when she is old. (Mother earth)-
Numbers 15:4-5
Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.
And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
(Job 1:18-19)
While he was still speaking, there came also another, and said,
"Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine
in their eldest brother's house,
and behold,
there came a great wind from the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they are dead. I alone have escaped to tell you."
(Psalms 60:1-3)
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
(Psalms 78:65)
Then the Lord awakened as one out of sleep, like a mighty man who shouts by reason of wine.
(Proverbs 23:29-33)
Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?
Those who stay long at the wine; those who go to seek out mixed wine.
Don't look at the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly.
In the end, it bites like a snake, and poisons like a viper.
Your eyes will see strange things, and your mind will imagine confusing things.

Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and champions at mixing strong drink;
(Habakkuk 2:15-16)
"Woe to him who gives his neighbour drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies
You are filled with shame, and not glory.
You will also drink, and be exposed
The cup of Yahweh's right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.
(Isaiah 5:11)
Woe to those who rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; who stay late into the night, until wine inflames them
(Isaiah 22:13)
And behold joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die."

(5) Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

Their wealth will become a spoil and their houses desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won't inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won't drink their wine.

Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one.
Like a storm of hail, a destroying storm,

he will cast them down to the earth with his hand.
The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden under foot.
The fading flower of his glorious beauty,
which is on the head of the fertile valley,
shall be like the first-ripe fig
before the summer;
which someone picks and eats as soon as he sees it.

"But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;
(Jeremiah 51:7)
Babylon has been a golden cup in Yahweh's hand, who made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: "I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink;" he would be the prophet of this people.
