Well in that a Buddha is born in the states, a part of the last lama in Tibet, who they go on a search for.

For me I feel this is really necessary as many Christians have failed to realise Christ taught reincarnation and only the roman church stopped this as to control the people.

Article on how Christ taught reincarnation also

Anyway back to the film, there is some really good parts put in the story to show some of the concepts of enlightenment, for those who have an ear.

Really sweet you could watch it with kids also and anything that can help teaches our kids which is what the film is about how Buddhist children are in fact the center of attention. Making us look amateurs in comparison with separating our children in Sunday school and then we wonder why we have so many problems????

I like how it tries to show the west about reincarnartion, funny though as really Christ taught reincarnation, yet the church decided it left people with more chances.
so they removed it and killed all who tried to state it as truth.
